News Years in Banff

Had a great Christmas. All sorts of cocktails, food, friends and family.

Highlight - went to Banff over New Years. A quick trip but managed to get in a day of skiing. First time in a long time. Took a lesson. I did surprisingly well. No major falls. Went off track once. The flourescent orange diamonds that said course preperation for races should have been a clue. What was supposed to be a blue run was in a state of mogulness. And yes I walked down part of it, attempted the last part and slowly wove my way down. Probably could have tried the whole run...but like the instructor said earlier...I overthink it. What do you expect from a grad student!
